Exiles

Kate is an author – and a successful one at that. She leads a charmed life with her lover Stewart and daughter Lucy in an old farmhouse in the beautiful, wild Auvergne region of France. When her son announces that he too intends to move to France, it seems that, for Kate, life could not be sweeter.

Then, out of the blue, Kate receives a phone call from her literary agent in London, a phone call which threatens her whole way of life. And worse is to come with the arrival of newcomers Mo and Tristram. Mo is strikingly beautiful and charming – when it suits her. But, as Kate discovers, she’s one of those people who brings chaos to other people’s lives – Kate’s included.
