Homecoming

It’s the mid 1950s and Helen is eagerly awaiting the return of her husband, Jack. They only had a brief honeymoon before he began his National Service so now their marriage can truly begin. But Jack has changed, and Helen is the last person in whom he will confide.

Helen turns to her lifelong friends for solace, but they too have problems. Lily is keeping something from her husband and he’ll never forgive her if he finds out. Calm, dependable Katie is on the brink of motherhood, while Judy is consumed by preparations for a wedding that her future mother-in-law is determined to hijack. Then Helen is faced with devastating news and must make the most difficult choice of her life …
