The complete Book of Cricket Records is a standard work of reference wherever cricket is discussed. It is “the cricketer’s Bible’, and its author was the best-known statistician in the world of sport.

the main work – now out of print – was of necessity expensive (55s), making it inaccessible (and bulky!) for many students of the game.

The publishers are glad to announce a concise edition of this famous book, suitable for the pocket and readily available to answer the questions that are likely to arise on the cricket field. In compiling the book the opportunity has been taken to make the records complete to the end of 1962.

‘The main problem, of course, was what to leave out in this pint-pot version of its quart original. I consulted several friends before this work was carried out and, although I could not expect to please everyone, I feel that the result is the best blend of information and likely to cope with most problems.’ It is indeed a multum in Parvo.

You can take it to the match.
