Shields of Pride

In 1173 the rebellious sons of King Henry II ignite unrest and bloody warfare throughout England. When mercenary soldier Joscelin de Gael encounters Linnet de Montsorrel on the road to London, he has no inkling of how much she is about to change his life, nor does she realise the effect he is going to have on hers. Both Joscelin and Linnet are survivors, scarred by their pasts, but their greatest challenge is facing the future as old wounds are torn open amid bitter and deadly family conflicts.
