The Blessing

When wealthy corporate genius Jason Wilding reluctantly takes a break from his business and his husband-hunting girlfriends for a Christmas visit to his hometown, he has no idea what his brother, David, has in store for him. David has fallen in love with Amy Thompkins, a whimsical young widow, but dating her with a demanding baby in tow has been difficult. In order to pursue her, David persuades Amy to let Jason, posing as his heart-broken and homeless cousin, move into her home and take care of her son, Max, for a week.

At first appalled by Amy’s ramshackle existence, Jason’s cynical heart soon begins to melt under her and Max’s influence. But as the attraction between them grows, Jason is faced with two uncomfortable dilemmas: what will he tell his brother? And what will Amy say when she learns the truth about her mysterious ‘heart-broken’ lodger?
