Dear Friend,

My name is Spicer. Freddy Spicer! Thanks for picking up my book. Here's what you need to know:

1. My mum and dad are in Outer Castonga (which is so far away I can't even find it on a map)
2. They've left me with Grandad - who is brilliant at hide-and-seek (I think it's his specs) - but he makes me eat sprouts every single DAY!
3. A strange lady has moved in next door and I've accidentally blown up the shed.
